Apparently enviro-sensitive moonbats don’t care much
about the thousands of birds killed by the economically inefficient windmills
they impose through government subsidies, but when the noisy and hideous
contraptions start chopping up their fellow bats in Pennsylvania, action must be taken:
Night operation of the
windmills in the North Allegheny Windpower Project has been halted following
discovery of a dead Indiana bat under one of the turbines, an official with the
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service said Monday. …
The find is significant because
the Indiana bat is an endangered species and is protected by thefederal Endangered
Species Act.
So after the taxpayer was forced to spend who knows
how many $millions on these eyesores, they won’t even run at night, rendering
them even less likely to meet anyone’s energy needs. Good thing windmills serve
only as symbols to help liberals feel pleased with themselves about their good
intentions. If anyone actually relied on them, this would be trouble.
